The San Diego Food Blogger's Bake Sale is an annual bake sale held to raise money for Share Our Strength. One in five children in the United States struggle with hunger and Share Our Strength creates initiatives to ensure that children have adequate access to nutrition in school and at home. Keep an eye out for updates on when the annual bake sale will be held (usually in the Spring). In the mean time, watch my video on YouTube from the 2012 sale: Sugar Sugar!

 

Cookies for Cody was a very very special online auction I was happy to be a part of.  8TH ANNUAL CHEF SHOWDOWN was held on September 13, 2012 at NTC Promenade @ Liberty Station. Proceeds benefited programs and services for the Center for Community Services that assist victims of domestic and sexual abuse. For more information, visit www.CCSSD.org. I had the privilage to attend the event and hear some inspiring stories of strength. Pictures from the event posted on my Facebook page.

The Taste of Downtown is an annual San Diego event (held in the Fall). It's a food walking tour throughout downtown San Diego where local restauarnts pass out amazing sample bites. Watch my YouTube video from 2011 HERE.

 

 

Taste N' Tinis is an annual San Diego event (held in December). Another food walking tour through the stylish and fabulous neighborhood of Hillcrest. The event features neighborhood restaurants and local businesses where you can do a little Christmas shopping while enjoying holiday martinis. Watch my YouTube video from 2011 HERE.

 

 

The Gourmet Food Truck Festival is an annual San Diego event (held in the Summer). Over 50 food trucks from all over SoCal gather at the Del Mar Fairgrounds to dish out great food and put to rest all your doubts on ordering food from a mobile restaurant.
